Step 1 – Submit your information for a quote:
In order to generate an accurate quote and ensure that we fully understand your needs, we require as much information as possible. This includes 3D models, material specifications, lighting requirements and specifics regarding the look you are after.
Material Specifications
Photorealism is largely determined by the setup of the materials. In order to produce an image that is convincing and realistic we need to know the specifics of the materials involved. This can be done with reference photographs and/or physical samples. Keep in mind that there are many aspects of a material that can be difficult to describe in words. The colour, texture, gloss and feel of a material all combine with a variety of other factors to determine its final look.
Lighting
Lighting has a huge impact on the look of the final image. For example, for product visualizations, studio lighting can be used so that the product is fully and evenly illuminated. For architectural visualizations, the time of day and weather need to be taken into account. See example below.
We will evaluate your requirements and provide a fully detailed quote. This quote can be done in one of two ways:
Fixed Price
This is the standard method and involves us producing a specific number of images and/or videos for a fixed price.
Variable Price
This approach is typically used with very open-ended projects that are still in the initial stages of development. If you want to explore a variety of options and don’t yet have a well defined design, we can work with you on an hourly basis as the design evolves. Contact us for details.
Step 2 – Preliminary Renderings
We will produce preliminary output to confirm that we have fully captured the desired look, camera angles and scene layout.
Step 3 – Final Renderings and Post Production
We will render out high resolution images and video and then apply any required finishing touches to arrive at the final output.
